Elisabeth died tragically in a school skiing accident on March 5, 2009. Elisabeth, daughter of Linda Steel and Brian Reurink, wrote that “Society and the world are always in need of change or fixing because as soon as we fix one problem another one arises. With every problem people have the ability and the capacity to be compassionate and reach out to help their neighbour, even if their neighbour is half-way around the world."
